Welcome to Sue Andrew's website. We hope that it will provide an indication of the artist's style and subject matter.
Sue Andrew has been a practising artist and printmaker for many years. She took her degree in Fine Art in Manchester and has been a teacher and lecturer as well as a full-time artist. She has worked in a range of media, including oil, gouache, acrylic, pen and ink and etching. Her subject matter has included portraiture, landscape, tropical scenes and jungles, religious imagery, and illustration.
Sue sells existing art works and accepts commissions. Past commissions have included landscapes and portraits; they have ranged from a series of pen and ink drawings to illustrate the novel "Wuthering Heights", for the Manchester Education Authority, to a seven-foot angel in a High Renaissance style, created for a parish church.
